Men are well-known to be the more violent sex. They commit, by far, a higher percentage of rapes, assaults, and murders than do women. One exception is domestic violence, which is now dominated by women—something media are loathe to report, as acknowledging that women frequently victimize men in intimate relationships runs counter to the toxic masculinity narrative that has become so popular today.

What is less well known is the degree of sex-specific predation women perpetrate against men. Although no fists or weapons are involved, it involves a degree of cruelty, callousness, and often sadism that one rarely sees in men outside the domain of criminal sociopathy. Female dominance in this heartless pastime is so lopsided, in fact, that there are almost no examples of it occurring in the opposite direction. The rise of the female predator has occurred rapidly and almost entirely under the radar of American society, and it has destroyed the lives of many good men.
